Towing Tractor
A vehicle that tows dollies.
High Lift Loader
An elevating vehicle for loading and unloading ULDs into the lower cargo hold of aircraft.
Main Deck Loader
A large elevating vehicle for loading and unloading oversized cargo and ULDs on the main deck of aircraft.
Belt Loader
A conveyor-belt vehicle for loading and unloading baggage and small cargo into the lower cargo compartment.
Passenger Step Car
A stair-equipped vehicle for passengers and crew to board and disembark aircraft, used when boarding bridges are unavailable.
Bulk Cart
Towing vehicles and flatbed carts for transporting ULDs and baggage containers between the apron and cargo warehouse.
Dolly
A flatbed cart for loading ULDs and transporting containers and pallets to and from high lift loaders or main deck loaders.
Air Starter Unit
Ground support equipment that supplies the compressed air needed to start aircraft engines.
Lavatory Service Car
A dedicated vehicle for waste disposal, cleaning and resupplying aircraft lavatories.
De-icing Car
A dedicated vehicle that removes snow and ice from aircraft wings and fuselage and applies anti-icing fluid before flight.
Ground Power Unit
A power supply vehicle that provides electricity from the ground to parked aircraft, securing onboard power when engines are stopped.
Water Service Car
A dedicated vehicle that supplies potable water to aircraft water tanks, supporting onboard service needs.
Towing Car
Aircraft cannot taxi backwards under their own power, so this vehicle is used to push them back from the parking stand to the taxiway.
Tow Bar
A connecting bar between the aircraft and the towing vehicle, used during pushback and taxi operations.
Forklift
Used for transporting and loading palletized cargo and special cargo (such as vehicles).
